'The Americans' adapted as 'The Koreans' with Lee and Han

The hit American spy series The Americans is getting a Korean twist with The Koreans, starring Lee Byung-hun and Han Ji-min.
Set in 1990s South Korea, the show follows two North Korean spies living undercover as a regular family while secretly carrying out missions, a fresh take on espionage drama with a local flavor.
Ahn directs 'The Koreans' in production
Directed by Ahn Gilho (of The Glory fame), the series aims to blend spy action with everyday life and real historical tensions.
Eric Schrier was initially unsure about adapting the story but was convinced by the Korean team's enthusiasm.
The Koreans is currently in production.
