Not Shraddha, but this is the real ghost in 'Stree'
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rai starrer 'Stree' has been winning the hearts since the day it was released. The movie has witnessed a magnificent run at the box office and the entire team is grinning ear-to-ear over its success. So far, everyone thought that it was Shraddha Kapoor who was the ghost in 'Stree'. But, interestingly, it is the Tollywood actress Flora Saini who is the real 'bhootni' in the movie. Reportedly, the makers kept her under the wraps because they wanted the ghost to be a mystery, obviously they are now overwhelmed with the response.
During her interview with Indian Express, Flora said that she did the movie as it was her kind of dark comedy, and that she was over the moon with all the praises. "I played a ghost in Stree, which most people don't want to do because they want to look pretty. I am so happy that the film is doing so well," she quipped.
Flora, who has shared the screen with Rajkummar and Shraddha for the first time, was overwhelmed by their kindness. "More than being fantastic actors, they are beautiful human beings. Every day Rajkummar would greet me warmly. Even Shraddha, after all my screaming scenes, would make sure that I had some honey with warm water to avoid a sore throat," she added.
Amar Kaushik's horror-comedy has come as a fresh breeze and has been leading at the box office, ever since. 'Stree' has made an applaudable collection of Rs. 64.78 crore after eight days of release. The movie, given the positive reviews and word of mouth, is expected to enter the coveted Rs. 100 crore club. Will it achieve the mark in its second week? Certainly!
