Tijori's 'Get Set Go' falls to 24 Gujarat screens
Entertainment
Deepak Tijori's big return to Gujarati cinema with Get Set Go started strong, over 700 screens in Gujarat!
But by week two, it was down to just 24, as theaters quickly switched over to new releases like Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Awarapan 2.
Even with good reviews, the film just couldn't hold its ground.
Tijori urges support for Gujarati cinema
Tijori shared that Get Set Go had a bigger budget than most Gujarati movies because of its action-packed style.
He pointed out how tough it is for regional films when they lose screens so fast, saying, "I hope the government does something to support Gujarati cinema."
He also noted that Marathi filmmakers get more support, and hopes Gujarati films can get the same chance.
