Vishnu Manchu unfazed by GST raids preceding Kannappa's release
Vishnu Manchu's much-anticipated film Kannappa is facing some last-minute turbulence—GST officials are raiding his offices in Hyderabad to check if all tax payments tied to the film have been made.
The investigation has been going on for several hours and could stretch longer, since Manchu owns multiple companies.
Manchu says he has 'nothing to hide'
Manchu isn't fazed by the scrutiny, saying, "I have nothing to hide, and everything is in the open." His team is reportedly cooperating with authorities.
Meanwhile, Kannappa still carries big expectations at the box office due to its high budget and star-studded cameos from Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Mohanlal.
The crew remains hopeful after positive early buzz—especially for Prabhas's role—and Kajal Aggarwal also stars in this Mukesh Kumar Singh directorial.
