12,000 special trains to run for Diwali, Chhath Puja

This is part of a massive festive push—over 12,000 special trains are running across India between October and November for Diwali and Chhath, making travel a bit less stressful this season.

Stations play Bhojpuri Chhath songs for travelers

Major Delhi stations like New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, and Anand Vihar are seeing a big jump in special trains—with a total of 58 special trains operationalised from Delhi for Chhath Puja.
To keep spirits high, stations in places like Patna and Ghaziabad are playing Bhojpuri Chhath songs for travelers heading home.
