68-year-old woman murdered for gold chain in Bengaluru

India

A 68-year-old woman named Bhadramma from Kooguru village in Anekal taluk, Bengaluru, was found murdered after going missing on October 30.
Police say she was lured with sweets and strangled for her gold chain by Deepa, a local woman who then hid the body at home for two days before dumping it near Doddathimmasandra Lake with her son's help.

Investigation ongoing to recover stolen gold chain

Deepa has confessed to the crime during police questioning, but officers are still investigating whether other family members were involved.
They're working to recover the stolen gold chain and gathering forensic evidence to piece together what happened.
Even after the incident, Deepa reportedly acted normal and denied everything when Bhadramma's family asked about her.
The case is still under active investigation as police follow up on all leads.
