Agra: 5 pedestrians killed by speeding car
A tragic accident in Agra on Friday night left five people dead and two others injured when a speeding car veered off the road near Nagla Budhi, ahead of the Central Hindi Institute.
The victims—Babli (33), Bhanu Pratap (25), Kamal (23), Krishna (20), and Bantesh (21)—were all pedestrians.
Bhanu Pratap worked as a parcel delivery agent for a private company.
Driver arrested, probe underway
Five critically injured individuals were taken to Sarojini Naidu Medical College, where doctors declared them dead.
Eyewitnesses shared that the car hit a divider before crashing into the group.
Two survivors, Rahul and Golu, are still being treated.
Police have arrested the driver and seized the vehicle as they look into whether drunk or reckless driving caused this heartbreaking incident.
