Air India crash report to be out soon: Civil minister
Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu says the official report on last year's tragic Air India crash, where flight AI 171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick went down, claiming 260 lives, will be released soon.
He shared this update in the Rajya Sabha today, reassuring everyone that answers are on the way.
Naidu's statement on air travel safety
Naidu mentioned that the investigation is moving forward and expects the findings by year-end.
With recent airspace disruptions in West Asia raising safety worries, aviation authorities have stepped up safety checks.
Despite these challenges, around 90,000 people were able to travel to India in the past week.
Looking ahead, big plans are in motion: India aims to add 200 new airports in the next 20 years (around 2046) and roll out new tech such as the track by tail program to make flying safer for everyone.
