A 25-year-old woman was found dead in a decomposed state at her rented residence in Gayatri Nagar, North Bengaluru. The victim, an MBA graduate from Davangere, Karnataka, was working with a private firm and had been living alone for the past one-and-a-half years. Her body was discovered hanging in a room on the third floor of the house under the Subramanyanagar Police Station limits.

Family couldn't reach her for days
The incident came to light on Saturday when her family, who lived in Davangere, couldn't reach her for several days. They asked the house owner to check on her as they were concerned about her wellbeing. The owner opened the door, which was locked from the inside, and discovered the body.

Police suspect suicide
The police have suspected suicide in the case and said that she had been suffering from depression. They believe she may have died several days earlier, but the exact time of death will be confirmed after a postmortem. Her mobile phone will also be sent to a forensic science laboratory for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation into this tragic incident.
