Bengaluru officer dies in hit-and-run incident

A Bengaluru police sub-inspector, Mahboob Guddahalli, lost his life after a hit-and-run incident while he was on duty escorting two drug suspects.
The crash happened around 2:30am on June 24 near Surya Nagar, when an unknown truck rammed into his vehicle from behind.
Despite quick medical help, the 40-year-old officer passed away five days later.
