Bihar MP Upendra Kushwaha threatened by alleged gang members

Upendra Kushwaha, Rajya Sabha MP and head of Rashtriya Lok Morcha, got death threats over the phone from someone claiming to be part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The calls came just as he was about to leave Patna for a PM Modi event in Siwan.
The caller warned him not to make political statements about a certain party and threatened serious consequences within 10 days.

MP posts details on social media

Kushwaha didn't stay quiet—he quickly informed Patna police and posted details (including phone numbers) on social media.
He also got a threatening MMS/SMS from another number minutes later.
Even with these threats, he says he'll still attend the PM's event as planned, which really highlights growing concerns about politicians' safety when criminal gangs get involved.
