BJP MP Harbhajan Singh criticized over Jagraon Bridge video
BJP MP Harbhajan Singh is getting called out after posting a viral video showing a young man allegedly taking drugs under Jagraon Bridge in Punjab.
Punjab Police said the footage could be old but confirmed the man seen in it was arrested by Ludhiana Police on August 12, 2026.
The video first appeared from BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu; then Singh quoted it and pushed back against critics, saying they would claim even the Jagraon bridge was in Rajasthan.
AAP accuses BJP over Rajasthan video
The controversy follows another mixup days earlier, when Singh shared a similar drug-related video that turned out to be from Rajasthan, not Punjab.
AAP leaders like Arvind Kejriwal accused BJP people of spreading this lie together yesterday and asked whether the PMO was involved.
Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema demanded an apology for what he called "peddling BJP's lies," while AAP highlighted its own efforts to fight drug issues amid ongoing political finger-pointing.
