BMTC electric bus driver suffers seizure, causes 9-vehicle crash

On Saturday, a BMTC electric bus driver had a seizure while driving near Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, leading to a crash involving nine vehicles at a busy signal.
Thankfully, despite the chaos and damaged vehicles, everyone escaped without serious injuries.

Victims demand stricter screening of drivers

Four cars, four autorickshaws, and a two-wheeler were hit. A few people had minor injuries and got quick hospital care.
Police acted fast to clear the traffic mess. The driver was arrested soon after.
Some victims voiced frustration with BMTC's hiring and screening of drivers—one even called for stricter screening so accidents like this don't happen again.
