Chhattisgarh resident pleads for family's safe return from Iran
Kasim Raza, who works in Raipur's prisons department, is asking the Indian government to help bring his daughter Eman and her family home from Iran.
With tensions rising between Iran and Israel, Raza last heard from Eman on Wednesday when she reached out for help but hasn't been able to contact her since.
Eman lives in Qom with her husband, kids
Eman, 29, lives in Qom with her husband Ezaj Zaidi—he's studying Islamic studies—and their two young sons.
They've been in Iran since 2018.
Raza is especially worried because Eman has a thyroid condition and the ongoing conflict makes things even more uncertain for them.
