Delhi: 3 UP men arrested for trafficking heroin worth ₹2cr
Delhi Police busted a drug syndicate by arresting three men from Uttar Pradesh who were allegedly trafficking over 1kg of heroin, valued at around ₹2 crore.
The group was supplying heroin across the Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh regions, like Shamli and Saharanpur; the drugs were allegedly sourced from Bareilly.
The accused are Faeem Beg, Kayum Khan and Amir Khan.
Beg admitted he sourced drugs from Bareilly for local peddlers
Acting on a tip-off, police raided near Anand Vihar railway underpass in East Delhi on February 22 and caught Beg and Kayum Khan with 101gm and 601gm of heroin.
Beg admitted he sourced drugs from Bareilly for local peddlers.
A few days later, Amir was found on his family's farm in Uttar Pradesh with another 301gm of heroin; it turns out he already had three prior narcotics cases.
A case was registered, and investigators said further probing is underway to identify and apprehend other members.
