Delhi blast: Main suspect Umar linked to Faridabad terror module

India

A tragic car blast near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station left 12 people dead and several injured.
The main suspect, Mohammad Umar—a Kashmiri doctor with alleged ties to Jaish-e-Mohammad—was reportedly seen in CCTV footage as a masked man driving the car, believed by police to be Umar, before the explosion.
He's now on the run, and police are racing to track him down.

Police are digging into Umar's possible link to terror module

Police are digging into Umar's possible link to a Faridabad terror module, where 360kg of ammonium nitrate was seized earlier.
They've arrested an associate who gave Umar the Hyundai i20 used in the blast, and registered a case under anti-terror laws.
Investigators are also running DNA tests from the scene and checking with Umar's family for matches, while questioning everyone involved in selling the car.
The blast happened just hours after authorities busted a "white-collar" terror network tied to three doctors—raising questions about whether these events are connected.
