A tragic car bomb exploded near the Red Fort metro station in Old Delhi on Monday evening, leaving at least 10 people dead and over 20 injured.
The blast went off around 6:52pm when a Hyundai i20 stopped at a red light suddenly detonated, setting off fires that damaged several nearby vehicles.
The shockwave shattered windows and could be heard from far away.

Probe on; foreign nations express condolences

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken charge of the case, treating it as a terrorist attack under anti-terror laws.
Multiple agencies—including the National Security Guard—are involved in the investigation, while top government leaders are monitoring things closely.
Russia and the United States have expressed condolences and concern as authorities continue their probe.
