Delhi: Woman in hit-and-run case out on bail

A 14-year-old boy lost his life in a hit-and-run in Delhi's Vasant Kunj on October 15. He was an eighth grader, struck by a Thar SUV while out near his neighborhood.
After nearly a week of investigation, police arrested Pooja (42) for her involvement. She's now out on bail, though charges have been filed.

What we know about case

Pooja told police she was driving to pick up some household items when the accident happened near C-9 Pocket Mother Dairy.
She admitted to being behind the wheel during questioning.
Police have seized her license and charged her under relevant laws, but as per procedure, she's been released on bail while the investigation continues.
