Delhi's air quality dips to 'very poor' category

Delhi woke up to "very poor" air, with an AQI of 324—well above safe levels.
Places like Anand Vihar and Mathura Road were even worse, and slow winds meant pollution just hung around.

Breathing Delhi's air right now is like smoking nearly 8 cigarettes a day.
That's way over the WHO's safe limit and puts everyone at higher risk for things like stroke or lung problems.
The bad air isn't just a Delhi thing either—places like Ghaziabad and Noida are in the same boat, with pollution actually worse than last year in Delhi.
