Delhi's Red Fort hosts 3-day tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur
Delhi's iconic Red Fort is buzzing with a three-day event marking 350 years since Guru Tegh Bahadur's martyrdom.
Organized by the Delhi government and DSGMC, the gathering kicked off Sunday and runs through Tuesday, drawing thousands of devotees just days after a tragic blast nearby.
Honoring courage, sacrifice, and teachings
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called the event the first time an event of this scale is being held in Delhi to mark the anniversary of the Guru's martyrdom, highlighting Guru Tegh Bahadur's fearless stand against oppression.
She also paid respects to Bhai Sati Das, Bhai Mati Das, and Bhai Diala for their sacrifices.
Visitors are encouraged to check out exhibitions sharing stories from the Guru's life—especially his messages of service, tolerance, and truth—making this not just a commemoration but a learning experience for all ages.
