Diwali rush: Air India flight canceled, passengers stuck at airport
An Air India flight from Milan to Delhi was suddenly canceled on Thursday night due to a technical glitch, leaving hundreds stuck at the airport.
The timing couldn't be worse, with many families and elderly travelers caught up in the Diwali rush and now scrambling for answers.
Passengers facing multiple issues
Passengers are now dealing with expiring visas and not much help from the airline.
Chandni Varia, one of those stranded, shared her worry: her visa runs out on October 20, but she still has no idea when she'll get home.
Some people got temporary hotel rooms, only to be told to leave soon after, and some elderly passengers can't leave the airport because they didn't have multi-entry visas.
Families with young children also faced difficulties, such as running out of food for toddlers.
