'Drunk driver, dumper': 18 killed in Rajasthan road accidents
India
Rajasthan saw a tragic day as at least 18 people lost their lives in multiple road accidents, mostly involving dumpers and heavy vehicles.
In Jaipur, one dumper hit a pedestrian on Phagi road, while another—allegedly driven by someone drunk—crashed into an auto-rickshaw on Sirsi road.
Just days before, a similar accident in Harmada had already claimed 14 lives.

Meanwhile, more deadly crashes have been reported—including a fatal car fire in Pali—and the incidents are prompting questions about road safety and enforcement as investigations continue.
