ED searches Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar in KPSC vet probe
India
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) just searched the premises of IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar in Bengaluru and Bareilly.
This is part of their probe into alleged money laundering tied to irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission's (KPSC) veterinary officers recruitment exam.
Gangwar, who was KPSC's controller of examinations until March, now works as director of MSME in Karnataka.
Home minister denies Gangwar missing
The ED kicked off its investigation on August 18, raiding KPSC offices and premises of former top officials.
On August 22, rumors spread that Gangwar was missing, but Karnataka's home minister cleared things up: he said Gangwar was actually in Uttar Pradesh for a family emergency involving his father.
