Eyewitnesses recount Telangana factory explosion

A major explosion at Sigachi Industries's pharmaceutical plant in Telangana's Sangareddy district killed 36 workers and injured dozens more on Monday morning.
The blast in the spray dryer unit caused the building to collapse and started a fire, with eyewitnesses saying some workers were thrown up to 100 meters away.

Sigachi Industries pauses production

Rescue teams are still searching through debris for 17 missing workers, while the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals.
Authorities evacuated the area due to heavy smoke, and a government probe is underway to investigate possible safety lapses.
Sigachi Industries has paused production and says it's working with officials to support affected families.
