Ganga Expressway: India's longest expressway is almost here

The Ganga Expressway, set to be India's longest at 594km, is nearly finished and will open early next year.
It connects Meerut to Prayagraj, running through 12 districts in Uttar Pradesh.
To keep the road smooth and safe, the state has teamed up with experts from Switzerland for AI-powered monitoring—so you can expect a smarter, better drive.

High-tech roads and what's next

This expressway isn't just long—it's packed with features: seven overbridges, 17 interchanges, 28 flyovers, and 946 culverts crossing 140 water bodies.
Industrial hubs are also planned along the route.
Next up, similar tech will upgrade the Gorakhpur Link Expressway too, making travel across UP even easier.
