Two BCA students at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University tried to outsmart their exams by using smartwatches to get real-time answers from an AI tool.
An alert invigilator caught on, making this perhaps the first reported case of its kind in Gujarat.
Both students were fined ₹5,000 each for breaking the rules.

After the incident, the university tightened its exam rules—now banning all internet-connected gadgets like smartwatches, earbuds, and even electronic pens and rings in exam halls.
