IAF reveals fighter jets used in Operation Sindoor at airshow
The Indian Air Force just gave everyone a close-up look at the fighter jets and high-tech weapons used in Operation Sindoor, their strike against terror camps in Pakistan earlier this year.
This reveal happened during an air show in Guwahati, where the impressive Barak formation—featuring Su-30MKI, Rafale, Mirage, and homegrown Tejas jets—took center stage.
The operation was launched as a direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack earlier this year.

Operation Sindoor focused on hitting targets with precision while keeping collateral damage low.
Su-30MKIs and Rafales led the mission, backed by Mirage 2000s and Tejas aircraft.
Key tech included India-Russia's BrahMos missiles for supersonic strikes, Franco-British Scalp missiles for long-range hits, and Israel's SPICE system that turns regular bombs into smart bombs.
Air Marshal Surat Singh dedicated the Barak formation to all personnel involved in Operation Sindoor, calling out their crucial role in making it a success.
