IndiGo cancels flight last-minute, leaves Bengaluru woman stranded

Namita's plans were thrown off when IndiGo canceled her Bengaluru-to-Delhi flight without warning—just a day before she was supposed to attend an important family ritual in Haridwar.
Stuck at the airport and with no backup options from the airline, she was left to figure things out on her own.

Why so many cancelations?

Namita isn't alone—IndiGo has canceled over 1,000 flights and delayed many more nationwide after new crew work-hour rules kicked in on November 1.
This has sparked frustration and long waits for travelers at major airports like Delhi and Chennai.
IndiGo says it's working on fixes and is asking for some rule exemptions until February 2026 to get things running smoothly again.
