IndiGo is giving full refunds after major flight cancelations
India
IndiGo just canceled over 1,000 flights nationwide—with major disruptions in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad—thanks to a tech update and new crew rules.
If your plans got wrecked during the recent operational meltdown, you can get a full refund, switch to another flight for free, or reschedule without extra charges.
Here's how refunds and compensation work
Refunds usually land in about a week.
If IndiGo didn't give you at least two weeks' notice about your canceled flight, DGCA rules say you could also claim extra cash: ₹5,000 for short flights (up to an hour), ₹7,500 for mid-length (one-two hours), and ₹10,000 if it was longer.
