Jaishankar's UN speech on terrorism draws global attention
India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar drew applause at the 80th United Nations General Assembly this week after he called Pakistan the "epicenter of global terrorism."
He pointed out that India has been dealing with cross-border terror since independence, and his comments came soon after a deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir this April that killed 26 civilians.

Jaishankar's speech comes after deadly terror attack in J&K
Jaishankar's speech followed the April 2025 Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, where most victims were Hindu pilgrims.
India responded with Operation Sindoor, targeting camps in Pakistan.
His message: India won't tolerate terrorism and wants international accountability for those who support or finance it.
