June 21 NEET-UG retest sees many from UP Maharashtra Rajasthan
The NEET-UG retest happening on June 21 is seeing a big turnout from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan: these three states alone make up more than one-third of all registrations.
The exam was rescheduled after the original May 3 test got canceled due to a question paper leak.

Uttar Pradesh leads with 356,291 students signing up, followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
Together, these states account for 34.4% of all retest candidates.
Add Bihar, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu into the mix and over half of this year's registrants come from just six states.
Hindi states supply 44% NEET-UG registrations
Hindi-speaking states contribute around 44% of registrations while the five southern states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh make up about 23.8%.
Smaller regions such as Lakshadweep barely register any candidates, showing clear differences in how students across India participate in this crucial medical entrance exam.
