Here are some online courses, both free and paid, to help you become an Android developer.

Google-Udacity
Google offers Android development courses on Udacity

Tech giant Google, which develops Android, offers several courses online in collaboration with MOOC provider Udacity. Popular free courses by Google include "Android Basics: User Interface" (provides Android and Java programming basics) and "Developing Android Apps". Under the 8-month "Android Developer Nanodegree" (two terms), students can learn from Google experts and get personalized support/mentorship and career support. Course cost is Rs. 44,900 (first term).

Envato Tuts+
Course for fundamentals of Java language before coding Android apps

Envato Tuts+, a platform for online courses/tutorials, offers an online course called "Learn Java for Android". Before one can start coding Android apps, learning the Java programming language is essential. This course would help in mastering Java with a focus on Android. Students learn about essential features of Java coding for Android. Those subscribed to Envato Tuts+ by paying $19/month can access this course.

DGiT Academy
Android Authority's app development course on DGiT Academy
