Madhya Pradesh land clash leaves 3 dead, several hurt

A fight over farmland in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, turned tragic on Sunday when three men lost their lives and five others—including two women and a young girl—were injured.
The dispute was between relatives and an opposing party arguing over who owned six bighas of agricultural land.

What happened next

Police say 8-10 people armed with sticks and sharp weapons attacked when one group tried to stop the other from planting seeds on the disputed land.
Cases have been filed against seven people (including two women) under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and all those injured are being treated at a district hospital.
The search for those involved is still ongoing.
