Maharashtra transfers 25 IAS officers in statewide administrative reshuffle

Maharashtra has switched up its leadership, transferring 25 IAS officers to new roles across the state.
Announced on Thursday, April 2, 2026, this reshuffle comes as city and district administrations see changes in postings.
New leaders appointed across Maharashtra cities
Some of the standout changes: G Sreekanth is now heading Jal Jeevan Mission in Navi Mumbai, Deelip Swami takes over as Managing Director at Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola, and Varsha Thakur Ghuge steps in as Joint CEO at MIDC Mumbai.
There are also fresh faces leading key posts in Nagpur, Kolhapur, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Buldhana, Latur, and Pune, part of a push to make local administration work better for everyone.
