Good news—Maharashtra is waiving tolls for all vehicles in the pilgrimage, including palkhi processions, warkari devotees, and extra MSRTC busses.
Just make sure your vehicle has the special pass from local authorities.
The waiver runs from June 18 to July 10.
5,000 extra MSRTC busses to be deployed
To keep things smooth for the expected 20 lakh pilgrims, the state is rolling out 5,000 extra MSRTC busses and boosting police and emergency services along key routes.
Authorities are also fixing roads and putting up new signs so everyone gets there safely.
Trip is an 800-year-old tradition
Pandharpur Wari isn't just any trip—it's an 800-year-old tradition honoring Lord Vithoba that brings together millions every year.
The state has set aside ₹42 crore for facilities and security this time, showing how much this journey means to Maharashtra's culture and spirit.
