Mehli Mistry steps down from Mumbai's top pet hospital trust

India

Mehli Mistry has stepped down from the Small Animal Hospital Trust in Mumbai, which was started by Ratan Tata.
This comes after he was removed from key Tata Group trusts in October, following pushback from other trustees.
His exit signifies a change in the hospital's leadership.

What this means for the hospital

Mistry's departure could affect funding for the hospital, which is one of India's most advanced pet care centers with over 14 specializations and high-tech facilities in Mahalaxmi.
He's recommended Siddharth Sharma, the current CEO, to take over as chairperson.
Another board member also resigned after Mistry left, indicating potential changes for this well-known animal hospital.
