Pakistan-backed module suspected in Ranchi RSS office petrol bomb attack
India
A petrol bomb attack hit the RSS office in Ranchi late on June 16, and investigators now suspect it was linked to a Pakistan-backed module.
Two bombs were used (one thrown onto the roof, one left at the gate) with only one actually exploding.
Three arrested as ISI-linked recruitment suspected
Three local residents have been arrested; police believe they were recruited through social media by operatives linked to Pakistan's ISI and were still learning how to handle explosives.
CCTV footage shows two people carrying out the attack.
Security around the office has been tightened, and Raghubar Das has strongly condemned the incident, calling for a thorough probe, and Babulal Marandi has also condemned the attack.
Raids are ongoing to catch others involved.
