If you have any banking to do, it's a good idea to check the holiday schedule so you don't get caught out by surprise closures.

State-specific holidays

Banks will be closed in Himachal Pradesh for Karva Chauth on October 10, 2024, and in Assam for Kati Bihu on October 18, 2024.
Diwali and related festivals bring closures in Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, and more between October 20-28, 2024.
Gujarat banks will also be closed on October 31, 2024 for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday.
