Pune shivers as temperatures take a sudden plunge

Pune just got a real taste of winter, with temperatures in Shivajinagar and Pashan dropping to around 9.8°C—down about 4-5 degrees in just one day.
Haveli was even colder at 7.8°C, making it the chilliest spot nearby.
Just earlier this week, nights were much warmer at 17°C, so this quick shift definitely caught people off guard.

Why does this matter?

The IMD says it's going to get even colder over the next couple of days across northern Maharashtra, with a cold wave expected from December 1 to 3.
But don't pack away your hoodies just yet—Cyclone Ditwah is likely to bring more clouds and bump up the temps again soon after.
