Health minister Dr. Balbir Singh explained this rise matches typical seasonal patterns, and most healthy people recover with rest and symptomatic treatment.
The NCDC has also shared care guidelines, reminding everyone with persistent or severe respiratory symptoms, especially if they develop breathing difficulty or other warning signs, to seek medical attention quickly.
