Rainy week forecasted across India: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says most of India—except the Northwest—will see moderate to heavy rain until Wednesday, thanks to a low-pressure system and humid winds from the Arabian Sea.
The monsoon is moving fast, bringing showers along the west coast and soon reaching central and eastern states.

Above-normal rainfall expected this June

Several states like Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat are on alert for heavy to very heavy rain over the next few days.
