Red Fort blast: NIA probing possible links to international terror
On November 10, a car packed with powerful explosives went off near Delhi's Red Fort.
The car was reportedly driven by Dr. Umar Muhammad from Al-Falah Medical College in Faridabad.
Just a day before, police in Faridabad had raided two sites linked to a terror module and seized nearly 2,900kg of ammonium nitrate along with weapons.
Multiple agencies working on case
CCTV showed the car's route from Al-Falah University through busy city spots before the blast.
Dr. Muhammad used several mobile numbers that were all switched off after October 30.
Now, both the NIA and Delhi Police are digging into possible links between the Faridabad raids and the Red Fort attack, including whether someone abroad was calling the shots.
Multiple agencies across states are working together on this high-profile case under anti-terror laws.
