Rohtak: School bus crash leaves several kids injured
On Monday morning in Rohtak, Haryana, two school busses collided near Lakhan Majra.
One bus with 15 kids on board overturned, while the other was carrying people returning from a function.
Several children and staff were hurt; most were treated and sent home after first aid.
What happened next?
Four to seven students and some bus staff were injured; two 11-year-olds and a driver needed hospital care but are stable.
Others got first aid at the scene and went home soon after.
The Haryana police chief stepped in, making sure all injured kids got proper treatment.
Why does this keep happening?
Sadly, school transport accidents aren't new in Haryana.
Earlier this year, six children died when a bus with an expired fitness certificate crashed in Mahendragarh.
In July, 42 more students were hurt in another bus accident near Pinjore—raising big questions about school bus safety across the state.
