SC orders CBI probe into ₹3,000 crore digital arrest scams

The Supreme Court has asked the CBI to investigate a massive digital scam where fraudsters pretended to be police or court officials and used fake Supreme Court orders to trick people into paying up.
A large amount of money has been extorted nationwide. All states and union territories now have to share case details and work with the CBI.
