Kerala: After caught cheating, student beats teacher
In a shocking incident that took place in Kerala, a student of Class XII assaulted a school teacher after the latter found him cheating in an exam recently. The student thrashed the teacher so badly that he had to be rushed to a hospital immediately. Following this, the student was apprehended by the Kasaragod town police, where a case has been registered. Here's more.
Accused hit the teacher on face when confronted on cheating
Last Friday, at the Chemnad Jama-ath Higher Secondary School, Chemnad, students were writing the model examination on Humanities. Around 4 pm that day, a Physics teacher, V Bobby Jose, who was invigilating the classroom, questioned the Class XII student for cheating. The accused allegedly got enraged over this and hit the teacher on the face.
Jose admitted with broken leg and injury on inner earlobes
After hitting Jose on the face, the student snapped one of the wooden legs of the desk and hit the teacher with it, according to the school manager CP Ahmed Ali. Thereafter, he kicked Jose so bad that he fell down on the ground. Jose was then admitted to a private hospital with a broken hand and injury on the inner earlobes.
Student is a known trouble-maker, has been punished in past
As per reports, Jose's condition is said to be stable. Meanwhile, a case has also been registered by the police against the father of the student for threatening the teacher if the latter complained to authorities. Notably, the student is a known mischievous fellow who has previously been punished by the school authorities for his disciplinary misconduct.
