Swine flu comeback: Delhi reports 1,777 cases, health ministers met
Swine flu is making a comeback this year, with Delhi seeing 1,777 cases.
Health ministers recently met to address the surge, as more people are heading for tests after showing symptoms like cough and fever.
Health ministry issues swine flu advisory
The health ministry has put out an advisory: Look out for symptoms such as sore throat, headache, muscle pain, and fatigue.
Young children, pregnant women, older adults, and anyone with conditions like asthma or diabetes should be extra careful.
Vaccination helps; so does washing hands often and staying home if you're sick.
If symptoms stick around or get worse, don't wait: see a doctor early because "Recognise the signs early and don't ignore persistent symptoms. If you experience these symptoms, seek medical advice at your nearest healthcare center," says the Union Health Ministry.
