TN: Navy's Chetak helicopter crashes during training sortie, crew safe
A Chetak CH 442 helicopter of the Indian Navy on a training sortie crash-landed at INS Rajali near Tamil Nadu's Vellore today and the crew were safe, a defense official said. Three persons on board, all safe
INS Rajali, also called Arakkonam Naval Air Station, is located about 75km from Vellore. Damage was reported to the main and tail rotors, the official said, adding that three persons who were on board were safe and no casualty has been reported as of now.
