Tragic domestic incident in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari

In Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh, 26-year-old Dhaneshwar Patel was arrested after allegedly murdering his wife, Meenakshi Patel, at their home. The couple had only been recently married. According to police, ongoing arguments and suspicions of infidelity led to the tragic incident.

Patel confessed during questioning

Neighbors heard a disturbance on Tuesday evening and called the police, who arrived with a forensic team. Patel reportedly confessed during questioning, saying frequent fights pushed him over the edge. The murder weapon was recovered at the scene. Meenakshi's family has been informed and her body sent for post-mortem as the investigation continues.
