'Ugadi' on March 17? VIP break 'darshan' timings changed
Heading to Tirupati for Ugadi?
Heads up: VIP break darshan is canceled on March 17; on March 16 and March 18 recommendation letters for VIP break darshan will not be accepted except for protocol dignitaries; and on March 19 VIP break darshan will remain canceled for all devotees except protocol dignitaries.
The move is all about making space for special rituals and handling the big festival crowds.
Here's the breakdown of what's happening
On March 17, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam (a cleansing ritual) will be held; VIP Break Darshan and the Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana seva are canceled that day.
On March 16 and 18, only official protocol guests can use recommendation letters for quick entry.
March 19's Ugadi Asthanam means regular devotees will need to join the usual Sarva Darshan queue, no shortcuts this time.
Plan your trip accordingly
If you're planning a trip, expect longer lines and traditional vibes as Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) focuses on rituals over VIP perks.
It's a heads-up to plan your visit accordingly!
