UP BJP leader robbed on Jabalpur-Katni highway

BJP leader Sujit Singh was attacked late Thursday night while driving with his family and a friend on the Jabalpur-Katni highway in Uttar Pradesh.
A group of four to five armed men stopped their car near Khitola police station, injured Singh, and snatched his gold chain and diamond locket before making a quick getaway.

Robbers flee after snatching valuables

Singh's driver managed to scare off the robbers by honking for help.
Afterward, Singh filed a complaint at the local police station, and an FIR was registered against unknown suspects.
This isn't the first such incident on this highway lately—police have now set up special teams and are checking CCTV footage to track down those responsible and boost security along the route.
